KIDS Capital is an independent investment partnership based in Los Angeles, CA, that was founded by Alison Kay and Ali Heyat in 2017. We employ a concentrated (8-12 holdings), long-term (target 3+ yr holding periods), fundamental investment approach, which invests in competitively-advantaged businesses with excellent management teams, that are aligned with strong secular growth trends - typically when long-term earnings power is underappreciated by investors. Our investors are principally HNW individuals and family offices.

Managing Partner & Co-CIO
Ali Heyat
Ali Heyat is Managing Partner and Co-CIO of KIDS Capital. Prior to co-founding KIDS, Mr. Heyat was a junior portfolio manager at Ranger Global Advisors, a billion dollar family office, from October 2013 to December 2016. Prior to joining Ranger Global Advisors, Mr. Heyat worked from February 2006 to July 2013 as a Senior Analyst at EMS Capital LP, a billion dollar family office with a long/short equity fund. At EMS Capital, Mr. Heyat focused specifically on the Media, Telecom, Gaming and Auto sectors. From July 1999 to June 2002, Mr. Heyat worked as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley and from August 2003 to January 2006 as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division as part of the Media and Communications M&A Group. Mr. Heyat received a BS in Economics from Georgetown University in 1999.

Alison Kay
Alison Kay is Managing Partner and Co-CIO of KIDS Capital. Prior to co-founding KIDS, Ms. Kay co-owned and operated an apparel development and manufacturing firm, from 2006 to 2014. Ms. Kay also distributed an investment research memo called "AK's Memo" from 2014 through 2018. Ms. Kay received a BA in Political Science from Columbia University in 2006.
Investment Analyst
William Andreasyan
William Andreasyan joined KIDS Capital as an Analyst in June 2024. Prior to joining KIDS Capital, William spent two years as an analyst at First Pacific Advisors in Los Angeles. Prior to FPA, William was a Summer Analyst at ValueAct Capital in San Francisco and Harris Associates in Chicago. William earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Southern California, graduating summa cum laude.
